I took my SUV to this Goodyera location for some battery charging issues. They told me that my engine is leaking oil and it is causing the starter to short and drain the battery. The pursuade we to have them fix the oil leak ($800) and after that they told me that ypur battery is bad. I ask them if the alternator is working fine and they told me it passed all their tests and there is nothing wrong we the alternator. I took my car to another shop and they told me that the alternator was faulty. After I fixed the alternator at the 2nd shop the car started working fine.

Basically, the mechanics at this Goodyear service location failed to diagnose a simple charging problem. They did some unrelated work on the car and made me pay for it (they refused to give me my car until I paid them for the unrelated job which did not fix the problem). Battery and alternator problems are the simplest type of problems to diagnose. I would never take my car to them again. Don't take your car to Goodyear Ultimate Source on Lougheed Burnaby location.
